Julius Caesar letter exposes ‘secret’ of Stonehenge

A letter written by the Roman leader Julius Caesar details the “secret rituals” carried out at the mysterious monument that has puzzled the world for centuries Stonehenge is a ring of standing stones found in Wiltshire, which archaeologists believe date back as far as 3000 BC. Amazon Prime’s “Stonehenge: The Temple of Druids” revealed how Julius Caesar’s first-hand account of the Gallic Wars gives an insight into the Celtic peoples who opposed Roman conquest. The main source of information regarding the Druids was Julius Caesar, Roman general and conqueror of Wales, who wrote that all these people would get together once a year in a sacred place within which to carry out secret rituals.
