“Terminator-like” liquid metal which autonomously changes structure developed by U.S. Air Force scientists

As reported by the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, military scientists have developed a “Terminator like” liquid metal that can autonomously change the structure, just like in a Hollywood movie.

The scientists developed liquid metal systems for stretchable electronics – that can be bent, folded, crumpled and stretched – are major research areas towards next-generation military devices.

These liquid metal networks can be strained up to 700%, autonomously respond to that strain to keep the resistance between those two states virtually the same, and still return to their original state.

It Rains Liquid Iron On This Planet

Scientists detect an exotic planet in another solar system where the weather forecast is always dire - a 100 percent chance of the most outrageous rain imaginable, with droplets of scaldingly hot liquid iron. Researchers using the ESPRESSO instrument on the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope in Chile recently detected a super-heated exoplanet located 640 light years from Earth. Dubbed WASP-76b, the planet is nearly twice the size of Jupiter and orbits a star almost twice the size as the sun. Inside Skinwalker Ranch, a paranormal hotbed of UFO research

Locals say the ranch has been plagued by strange creatures and cattle mutilations. It's also been used for government UFO research. So what's really happening there? Skinwalker Ranch has a long and sordid history well cataloged by researcher Ryan Skinner. The Uintah Basin has always been home to strange tales of odd lights, sounds and visions. Sightings of strange creatures and UFOs continued in the area. Cows were mutilated with surgical precision in broad daylight and that their family was hunted by strange aerial objects and floating orbs of light. They heard disembodied voices, experienced poltergeist activity, witnessed horrible monsters emerging from portals, and claimed they encountered a wolf that, when shot several times by a high powered rifle at point blank range, did not die. Over the past several years, the new owner and his staff have completely revamped the ranch, installing surveillance systems and scientific equipment all over in order to try to ...
